One made a little masterpiece way back …<\/p><\/div>\n

What does one do when a good idea is suggested from a friend under the influence?<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, at first, one can scratch one’s head and wonder what it really meant. Then one can imagine that with inhibitions loosened, good ideas can flow more easily.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next step is to decide what one wants to do if one could choose? One has decided to add a new item to the bucket list: A Rendez-Vous With ViktorE. Love the ring of that!

Holding on to beliefs limits our experience of life. That doesn\u2019t mean that beliefs or ideas or thinking is a problem; the stubborn attitude of having to have things be a particular way, grasping on to our beliefs and thoughts, all these cause the problems. To put it simply, using your belief system this way creates a situation in which you choose to be blind instead of being able to see, to be deaf instead of being able to hear, to be dead rather than alive, asleep rather than awake. <\/em> Pema Chodron<\/strong><\/p>\n

Does curiosity kill the cat? Not so far.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Tigger_Hobbes\"<\/a>One has been compared to Tigger. One has been compared to Hobbes. Same species. Solitary by nature. Hmmm… could they be friends?<\/span><\/p>\n

Google search found no support for the two finding friendship. Several explorations exist for who might win in a fighting match. <\/span><\/p>\n

One does not concern oneself with who specifically said each comment but more that someone said each comment as follows. Trust me.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a pretty good match. Hobbes in general is much more thoughtful and vicious, but is also less energetic than Tigger. <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Hobbes hands down. He’s got that animal instinct while Tigger is like a big puppy dog. He jumps up on you and screws around but would be really upset if he actually hurt someone. Also, if we assume relatively similar human sizes, he’s way smaller. Hell, even if Calvin is only \"hobbes\"<\/a>half of Christopher Robin’s size, Hobbes should be significantly bigger. Hobbes 9\/10<\/li>\n
  2. Hobbes is much more focused and motivated and should be able to take a majority of the running<\/strong> events, especially the distance ones. Tigger takes the jumping events 10\/10, and Hobbes sweeps discus\/shotput\/javelin events. Overall, probably 6-7\/10 Hobbes\"Tigger\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Hobbes is fiercely loyal and a (relatively) excellent fighter. Tigger is, again, kind of a scaredy-cat doofus. Hobbes 10\/10<\/li>\n
  4. Oooooooh, the most hotly contested event. At first I was leaning towards Tigger, but Hobbes has some impressive sneak pouncing feats. I’m going with a 50\/50 split on this one. Too close to call. 5\/10 Tigger<\/li>\n
  5. Hobbes sweeps 10\/10. It’s not even close. Even if the subject was bouncing or hatred of honey Tigger would be destroyed by Hobbes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In the active events, Tigger could do much better if he could direct his boundless energy a little more.<\/p>\n

    Depends on how the event is scored. Hobbes does more damage per pounce but takes his time for the perfect setup. Tigger could probably get more targets in a free for all.<\/p>\n

    Is Hobbes fiercely loyal? I can’t remember him ever passing up an opportunity to betray Calvin.<\/span><\/p>\n

    He’s a best friend, and best friends sometimes think with their dicks.<\/p>\n

    The wonderful thing about tiggers is that riggers are a wonderful thing. Their tops are made out of rubber, their bottoms made out of springs. They’re bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, fun fun fun fun fun. But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is that I’m the only one!<\/p>\n

    Hobbes wins paws down. He has to deal with the imagination of Calvin all day and you don’t hang around with such sheer, unadulterated genius and not pick up something. Tigger has nobody to draw inspiration from, and as such, he will not be able to compete. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Hobbes may have the brains, but only Tigger has the loveable spring of the tail. He’ll be jumping circles around Hobbes. <\/span><\/p>\n

    I voted Tigger. I believe Hobbes has the better knockout punch but I just don’t believe he will ever lay that punch on Tigger. Tigger has the ability to avoid Hobbes the whole fight and would win on either a decision or TKO… a TKO because eventually Hobbes’ bad habits would take over and he would simply lay down and take a nap. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Maybe Tigger can bounce pretty high with that tail of his, but Hobbes could knock him out of that tree with lofty rhetoric. Tigger’s got the Disney corporate backing, but that’s made him soft. Hobbes’ll beat the stuffing out of ‘im, no question. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Tigger would have problems surviving against Piglet, let alone in a jungle. Hobbes would survive on attitude alone. Yes, I know we all love the Tigger, but that’s why we should keep him safe at home. After all, he is the only one. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Hobbes has no chance, because Tigger is just naturally annoying. <\/span><\/p>\n

    I like both Tigger and Hobbes, but Hobbes will win. He has the training and the maneuverability… he lives with Calvin!! Tigger has only got the bouncing and the endangered species thing going for him. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Hobbes all the way! Although Tigger is pretty cool, he’s not much of a threat, hanging out with Christopher Robbin. Hobbes, on the other hand, is Calvin’s constant side-kick and that’s like being best friends with the spawn of Satan. Hobbes gonna kick some massive tiger tush!!! <\/span><\/p>\n

    Hobbes’ only problem will be poachers<\/b>. If they see just a stuffed toy tiger, Hobbes will be fine. If they see a live tiger, though, he may be in for trouble!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Hobbes will maul Tigger. Even though Tigger has the spring tail function, Hobbes has the wit and cunning of the philosopher he was named after.

    It’s going to be Hobbes all of the way. After all, he shares a room with Calvin, which means that his survival skills *have* to be top notch. Also, he has demonstrated time and time again that he is the undisputed master of the Pounce and the dirty trick. Tigger, though lovable and the undisputed master of the Bounce, just won’t hold up as well away from his supporting cast. Most likely he’ll get bored before the fight is over and try to go home… <\/span><\/p>\n

    Pure and simple, Tigger has the annoyance factor at 100%. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Hobbes will probably win this one because he is famous and is liked. This is a popularity contest. If it was to annoy the hell out of some one, Tiger would win because he’ll just bounce and bounce and come up with some stupid rhythm song to drive someone nuts. <\/span><\/p>\n

    I love both these guys, but let’s look at the cold hard facts. Tigger doesn’t need anyone to bring him to life… Hobbes really only comes to life when spurred on by Calvin. No Calvin, No Hobbes. Tigger can bounce and has the logic of a Vulcan on E. Tigger wins by a bounce! <\/span><\/p>\n

    Well, if it was a contest of “who do you like better,” I would say Hobbes all the way. But the \"IMG_3305\"<\/a>question is who will bother more natives. To that end, I believe there is only one thing to analyze: survival. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Hobbes, although he is one cool cat and has a lot of wisdom for a stuffed animal, is still domesticated. Tigger lives on his own in the Hundred Acre Wood. Without Calvin there to make him his tuna sandwiches, Hobbes just won’t last long enough to bother anyone.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Let the record show, however, that it pains me greatly to say this.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    I just need to say that I think that Hobbes is a natural winner. Hobbes is obviously a natural hunter. he keeps \"kittiesbucket\"<\/a>his keen instincts honed by terrorizing Calvin, always waiting for him after school and such. Now…. if we throw in Hobbes access to the transmogrifier, and the time machine…. Tigger is as good as toast. <\/span><\/p>\n

    One thinks one got out of hand. One has a habit of that. Many good laughs along the way – reading the different perspectives. The Web offers so much more. Curiosity on that topic was settled. For now.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Friendships are like snowflakes: no two are alike. Some have benefits. Some do not.  Benefits are whatever the friends dream up. Even as simple as inform each other when geographic changes occur with travel or moving. Format: whatever fun way one thinks up. Logic aside. One feels this would be a nice friendship. <\/span><\/p>\n

    October 2012, one felt there were two items waiting to experience: draw on the walls and invite someone dangerous for tea. One noticed<\/b> that months following a Mentor meeting, one questioned if one can scratch off the inviting someone dangerous to tea now. One did not hear an answer from one’s inner knowing. <\/span><\/p>\n

    One had no idea where one’s idea came from…<\/span><\/p>\n
